Sit up and take notice

Its well known that I have had more than my fair share of experience in and with hospitals early in life. Just this weekend, after a gap of many years, I had to accompany a close relative to an upscale hospital. Apparently, healthcare costs in private institutions has now come to compete with those abroad. What scared me most is the nonchalance when reeling out the "approximate" costs for an angioplasty "package".

Folks, just a headsup, quality healthcare comes at a BIG cost. Make sure you have insured yourself and more importantly, your elders. And, make sure you can mobilize a good amount of money in quick time for any medical emergency.
